Moinho da Ponte Velha

The Mill Old Bridge was a water mill, re-built, opened in May 2012.

It was abandoned about half a century and was reborn in 2012.

Moinho da Ponte Velha offers accommodation in a restored mill overlooking the Sabor River. Located 2 km from Castelo de Bragança, this guest house includes a spacious lounge with open fireplace and fully equipped kitchen. Each room and suite has views of the Sabor River and surrounding garden. All feature wooden floors and a private bathroom individually decorated with mosaic tiles. A buffet breakfast is served daily. Regional cuisine is available on request. Many restaurants in the town centre of Bragança are a 5-minute drive away. Guests can relax with a book in the scenic sitting room or take a jeep tour through Montesinho Natural Park. Horse riding, fishing and cycling can also be arranged.
