This hotel is located very close to the beach. It exceeded my expectations for a 2 star hotel. My room had been renovated. The bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night. I ate my evening meal there and it was delicious. Breakfast was a big spread with lots of choices.

Massages are really good, high quality professionals. Asked for a couple massage (both at the same time) which was not an option but they made it possible.
Restaurant is very good price value.

Everyone was wonderful, especially the nice lady at reception. My only grumble was that the bed pillows were too hard for my taste. Excellent choice and one of the highlights of Portugal!

The room was lovely and had an amazing view of the ocean and the Santuario de Santa Luiza. The room had a sitting area, and a balcony with chairs, and the bed, pillows, and duvet were all comfortable. The breakfast and the dinner menu were varied and the food was delicious.

Viano do Castelo has a nice maritime feel to it with nearby beaches, historic old city center, many good restaurants, and sits below the amazing Santa Luzia Cathedral. One must visit the Cathedral and if daring go up to the top of the Cathedral (mix of elevator and then steps) for the best 360 degree views of the region, ocean and land.

I loved everything about Viana do Castelo.
I loved everything about Viana do Castelo. It was New Year's Eve and the atmosphere was incredible. Definitely one of the best nights of my life! The people, the decorations, the lights and although a lot of fun was being had, it just felt so safe and welcoming!
The next morning the streets were spotless, everyone wishing you a Happy New Year and it was all in all just perfect. I'll definitely be coming back. In fact I'd love to live there!

Lovely town to stroll around with lots of interesting buildings/architecture, nice boutiques and specialist shops and a good mix of places to eat. If we had stayed longer it would have been worth having a car but for 4 nights it was fine without. (Hotel has a car park)

Viana do Castelo is a great place to just relax if you want to get away from the tourist scene in the big cities. It's easy to go on day trips and outdoor activities from there. The food was amazing, the people polite and friendly. We hope to go back.

The family has done a beautiful job creating tasteful art decor that celebrates the soul of this city. The Museo do Traje at the end of the block is worth a visit, too. I have a greater appreciation of my Traje do Vianesa room after a visit to the Museo!

If you really want to enjoy a portuguese authentic countryside estate this is the perfect place!
When you arrive here you feel yourself in a paradise far from the noisy cities - just vineyards, silence and peace!
I also loved the room furnitured in a real authentic way. This place is not a boring average modern hotel, here you get the the real beautiful Portugal!
This place is a perfect startpoint to discover North Portugal (Viana do Castello, Braga, Guimaraes, Porto) by car.
Peaceful setting all around, inserted in pine tree Nature. Clean, tidy, beautiful walkable accesses to the beachfront, ocean water of remarkable quality. Sense of safety. Serviceable, clean bungalow with hot water, raised from the ground level, and with decent room to other bungalows. Dedicated parking space relatively close inside the park. Excellent, attentive, responsive staff all around. Close enough to Viana do Castelo and various other commercial and tourist spots.
Spacious, well-furnished and well-equipped accommodation in a picturesque setting. Very friendly hosts. One could easily spend a few weeks just sitting out in the huge yard enjoying the beautiful scenery and walking along the nearby beaches. Very convenient to explore the entire northwestern part of Portugal (much better, in my opinion, than staying in Porto or its immediate vicinity).
The hotel is located conveniently close to shops and restaurants. The room was simple, but the walls are incredibly thin and you can hear your neighbors. Not the best if you want a good night’s rest before you start your walk on the Camino the next morning. Breakfast options included fruit, yogurt, bread, cold cuts, and cheese.
Very attentive staff who is very passionate about his job and the premises. So helpful and took the time to show me around the entire hotel giving me the story of the hotel, decor and art work along the way. The breakfast was very carefully and lovingly prepared and served. A very special place to stay.

Centrally located place in the old town of Viana do Castelo with lots of restaurants, cafes and shops around. The room was nicely designed with a view over the bridge and water. The A/C was useful to sleep in cool surroundings. A good option if you are walking the Camino.
This is my second stay at Hotel do Parque and I think it is a great place to stay when in Viana do Castelo. The facilities are clean, the breakfast buffet and breakfast room with river view are great, and the staff is very helpful and kind.
Everything! Beautiful luxurious hotel right on the Camiño! Very clean and comfortable and the staff was exceptional! They insisted on preparing us a wonderful breakfast to go the next morning, since we were leaving out early.
Wonderful hotel in a perfect location. Everything was fabulous. The breakfast was incredible. The staff are beyond helpful. I'm hiking the Camino and originally booked 2 nights. I added a 3rd night after spending 1 night there.
Best hotel we stayed in in two weeks in Portugal. Super hip. Local artists on the walls. Great self serve breakfast. Right on the main square in this very chic little town. Super responsive host. It could not have been better.
I hope I will have possibilities to stay here again. I love this old-fashioned residence in amazing Viana do Castelo! Excellent equipment inside&outside. Swimming pool also was a good option for pilgrims :)
Beautiful hotel located close to all amenities and only a short walk from the train station. The breakfast was great and varied, our room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Great value for money.
Alex is a very helpful, obliging and informative host. He has useful local knowledge that he is happy to share. I had very interesting chats with him about the local area, Portugal and the world.
Everyone was wonderful, especially the nice lady at reception. My only grumble was that the bed pillows were too hard for my taste. Excellent choice and one of the highlights of Portugal!
On the Camino. Hostess shared stories about Portugal and her family as she served us a delicious large hearty breakfast. Rooms spacious and comfortable with lovely beds, strong hot showers
The space is very nice, and the location can't be beat. I really enjoyed the complimentary breakfast - great way for two pilgrims to start their day of trekking through Portugal!
The view is amazing, breath taking. The hotel is very well located, above Viana do Castelo. Very spacious lounge, great breakfast and very nice staff. Great bed
