Portuguese people love two things more than anything: the beach and food. In this full-day journey we combine the two by finishing with a picnic on the beach. But first, we get our hands dirty.Farmer’s markets are best in the morning, so we’ll pick you up in one of our legendary jeeps and roll straight over to hunt and gather the freshest local ingredients to craft an epic Portuguese picnic. Think cured meats, local cheese, fresh bread and ingredients for salad.After we’ll head to our mate Joao’s farm to meet and greet his furry and feathered friends. This is really a walk in which you can “smell” all the green around you! Upon reaching Salto do Prego’s waterfall, we have the opportunity for a dip before our picnic lunch.
