This walk is probably one of the most beautiful in Madeira, allowing the hiker to enjoy the natural heritage of the island due to the trail being full of endemic species of the islands fauna and flora. The lushfull vegetation fills the view, envolving the hiker in a peaceful environment.It is maybe one of the most known levadas. Known as Kings Levada, This is undoubtedly one of the levadas you don’t want to miss. A magnificent trail of the Madeira’s Laurissilva forest where you can enjoy the unique vegetation of this UNESCO natural heritage. The first part of the trail consists of a mixture of endemic and introduced vegetation after the discovery of the island.
